Sterling Sire Services – based in Caldwell, Texas – is owned and operated by Kyle Herron and his wife Amy Kaye. Kyle graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and is currently finishing a master’s degree in Physiology of Reproduction. Amy Kaye is completing her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at Texas A&M as well.

During his collegiate journey, Kyle completed internships through embryo companies, servicing both cattle and small ruminants. During these internships he recognized a unique opportunity to service small ruminant breeders with on-farm semen collection and freezing services. As a result, Sterling Sire Services was formed.

Sterling Sire Services is committed to helping producers achieve their goals by giving every sire the best chance to produce high-quality, frozen semen. Whether that is on-farm collection or receiving premium care at Sterling Sire Services facilities, we will work with each individual to meet the producer’s goals.
