Sterling Sire Services is owned and operated by Kyle Herron and based out of College Station, Texas. Kyle graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in animal science and is currently finishing a master’s degree in physiology of reproduction. During his colligate journey he had the opportunity to intern for embryo companies, servicing both cattle and small ruminants.

It was during these internships he saw a unique opportunity to service small ruminant breeders with on-farm semen collection and freezing services. As a result, Sterling Sire Services was formed. Sheep and goat breeders are now able to maintain possession of their prized genetic stock while also putting up frozen semen for use in AI and ET programs. 

Sterling Sire Services is committed to helping producers achieve their goals by giving every sire the best chance to put up high quality frozen semen. Whether that is staying at home to get collected or being housed by Sterling, we will work with each individual to meet the producers goals.
